COVID-19 Marina Update

19 April 2020 update

Check out paragraph #13! Marinas in NYS can now open!! We have a few things to work out before we open for the season. I’ll be posting both here and on Face Book operating changes and business hours. Stay Safe! Stay Healthy!

15 April 2020 update

On April 9, further guidance was provided on the Executive Order 202.6: marinas and boat launches are non-essential. So, we’re still in a holding pattern. We are continuing to do what little we can here, but it’s not much. There’s still another 4 weeks to go before we normally open. Here’s our thoughts going forward.

Docking. We are still looking at our target opening of May 15. We’ll adjust that as the days go by. The ice is gone and the lake is getting higher by the day, so there is that.

Boat Slips Available. We have a handful of open slips. All are good for 24ft and smaller. Slip rates are here. Email us if you’re looking for one.

Commissioning Boats in Storage. Everyone should have received the Spring Service sheet either by USPS or email. If you didn’t, give us a shout. We’ll do our best to get your boat to you on the date(s) you requested, but it’ll depend a lot on when we can open.

Boat/Engine Service. I’m keeping a list of everyone who has called in looking for service and I’ll touch base with you when we’re open. We’re working out how to do service safely.

In the meantime, Stay Safe! Stay Healthy! Keep up the social distancing!!

04 April 2020 update

Undoubtedly, these are unprecedented and remarkably difficult times for people everywhere, and we at Park Marine hope first and foremost that you are healthy and safe.

As global and U.S. health agencies monitor and report on the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) we are closely following developments to assess how the virus might impact our customers, our business and the ability of boaters to participate in on-water activities.  Like you, we are hoping for better and safer times soon.

The health and welfare of our staff (Dave and myself), our family and our customers are our highest priorities. Keeping that in mind and due to the NYS Governor’s mandate that 100% of the workforce must stay home, we will be closed until restrictions are relaxed and NYS marinas are allowed to open.  We will continue to move forward as best we can in preparation for the boating season.  You can reach us via email, Face Book or Google messenger or phone; all business transactions must be done via mail, phone, or internet.  Please, do not come to our location for your own safety as well as ours.

We know you love your time boating, but we want you to be safe so you can enjoy boating for years to come. None of us can predict with confidence the changes we might experience in the near or distant future, so please make sure to follow the advice of health professionals and minimize the potential of COVID-19 transmission.

Spring commissioning letters and work requests will be sent out this week; either by e-mail (for those we have email addresses for) or USPS.

Boat Slips for the 2016 Boating Season

After a brisk walk yesterday in sub-zero temps with an even colder wind chill and today being just as cold, I thought it would be appropriate to send out this reminder.  All of our last year boat slip holders should have received their dock notices over the last couple of weeks.  If you didn’t (or you lost it), let us know today.  Slip Agreements and deposits are due no later than February 29, 2016, so don’t set it aside thinking you’ll do it later, because you know deep down you’re going to forget!  If you don’t need a slip this year, please do us the courtesy of letting us know.

We do have a waiting list for this season.  Once the deadline for last year’s slip holders has past or folks let us know they do not need a slip, we’ll move on to the waiting list.  Call or email now to be placed on our waiting list.Boat
